MXD makes your KORG Minilogue XD synthesizer feel more recallable, loopable, automatable, and performable inside modern DAW sessions, without breaking the musical flow. If you are performing or jamming with friends, the standalone version, with persistent MIDI I/O and device program (preset), you can start playing the moment the MXD standalone starts.
Note Weaver is designed for people who want a calm, capable writing space that still respects the private nature of personal notes, journals, technical material, research, and working drafts.
You can write in rich text or Markdown, organize notes into folders, embed images, preview pages, and export documents, while keeping your library local-first. Synchronization is there when you need it, but the architecture is intentionally restrained: Fiction Loom relays encrypted traffic; your devices hold the readable data.
What began as ten Photoshop scripts from one productive Sunday afternoon, become a polished UXP extension, and now a standalone, cross-platform product with desktop and mobile access under one license. Each generation has responded directly to what I as a photographer needed, and what the users asked for: now including less dependence on Photoshop, broader workflow integration, and the freedom to work across devices.
Priorities may change, but we are already making strong progress on a software synthesizer, based on the UI we made for MXD, but freed from the bounds of MXD's required hardware synth device, they are already worlds apart in terms of feature set and, of course, sound. Stay tuned!
