Six months ago, I released V1.0.0 of MXD, the next generation release of my original plugin for Ableton Live Studio. My goal was to achieve two things. I wanted to be able to run and play my Minilogue XD without opening a DAW, and as much as I love Ableton Live, I wanted users of the many other excellent DAWs to enjoy the multitude of benefits that MXD brings to the workflow. Version one achieved that, and much more, but almost every time I opened MXD, I realized it needed a little more tweaking here and there. This resulted in me going through multiple iterations, every time adding more features and making MXD as beautiful as ever.

I continued to work on MXD between sessions creating our second product Note Weaver, and third product, Frame Weaver, and last week, I finally reached a point where I feel as though MXD is really complete. So, I sat back and made a 40 minute video to walk you through all of the major features of MXD, a product that I am extremely proud of, as I truly believe it brings not only the controls on the front panel of the Minilogue XD, but the inner working, including the Sequencer and Motion paths, of the Minilogue XD right into the fingertips of the user. The Minilogue XD is an amazing synthesizer, and two of them poly-chained is even better. We support both configurations, and much, much more.
