Welcome to Frame Weaver - Professional Frames & Borders for Awesome Artists! Frame Weaver is a standalone product that works on Mac OS, Windows, iOS and Android, and one purchase of our perpetual license enables you to use Frame Weaver on up to three devices. You can buy it directly from the Fiction Loom website via Paddle, or the App Store, or the Google Play Store, and you will receive the same 3-device license wherever you buy it.

We created plugins for round-trip editing from Lightroom and Capture One Pro that we install automatically along with Frame Weaver, and we register Frame Weaver with the operating system, so you can select it to edit TIFF, JPEG, BMP, or PNG files, and send multiple files for batch processing as well as single images. We're using this for processing images in DxO PhotoLab 9, for example, and it works great. On mobile, you can select images from your file system in the main Photos app on both iOS and Android.

We feel that online images can and should still be given a change to look special, without building a physical gallery. An environment where they can thrive: a virtual space where you design your own galleries, stacked into a high-rise or spread across several smaller buildings, each with as much wall space as you care to give it.

In a multi-story building, add an elevator with a smart-screen button panel adds each gallery as a new floor as you create it. Add video rooms with stylish chairs, where visitors can walk in, sit down, and watch your YouTube or Vimeo videos. Bring your frames to life with Frame Weaver Pro Immersive Galleries!

A Frame Weaver Pro subscription gets you Frame Weaver, and the Immersive Galleries. When using a Pro license, Frame Weaver reveals extra controls to upload your framed images straight to your gallery folders, and auto-hang fills your walls in seconds while you stand in the gallery and watch. If you already own Frame Weaver, you will see a button in the License and About sections to add the Immersive Galleries whenever you are ready.

Photographs without borders and frames are just photographs. While there is nothing wrong with that, would you tack a photograph to your walls and call it art? Probably not.

When we add a border, a signature and a frame to a photograph we are making a statement that we care about the piece. Whether the audience likes it or not, we are saying, "I think this image is special enough to frame; to display." That can be a powerful thing, and framed images display powerful qualities.

In the real world, Frame Weaver can help you to prepare images for print, with offset fine art borders, titles, and trimming marks (Tombo) to aid in trimming for specific sizes from larger pages or roll media. For digital display, such as Instagram, we can help you to develop a stunning presence with all of your images frame beautifully in square format. Even just on a website, images look better with a frame, affording them that same status, "This, is special."

There's no better way to judge this, than to take a walk around our Frame Weaver Pro Immersive Galleries. This is our CEO Martin Bailey's gallery, and although it's still work in progress, it should give you an idea of how good the immages look, and how crazy cool it is to see them in this virtual immersive space.

If possible, hit the icon in the top left corner to go full screen. If you have a game controller, you can use that. On a touch screen device, we'll give you on screen controllers. On a desktop computer, use the arrow keys and keyboard shortcuts. Weavie, who runs the HUD will help you automatically, or click H to show Weavie at any time.

Frame Weaver V1.2.0 brings Custom Frame Profiles (cross-sections) and Custom Textures, enabling users to create inifinately more intriquate frames with Global Light Elevation and Sheen Control.

In August 2013, I sat one Sunday afternoon and wrote a set of scripts to resize images, add a border, and offset them by a set percentage above center, as is often done with fine art prints. I called them the Fine Art Border Scripts, and I sold thousands of copies.

In June 2021, I created Fine Art Border Tools, or FAB Tools, an Adobe Photoshop plugin based on the original scripts that has since become quite feature-rich and has sold well for me. If you are wholly in the Photoshop ecosystem, FAB Tools are still available and still for sale, but now, thirteen years after I made the first scripts, I am extremely proud of the third generation of these tools under my new brand, Fiction Loom, and I hope you find this collection of framing and resizing tools useful.
